WWII Stahl German K98 Mauser Long Bayonet w/Scabbard + Frog

Description

WWII German Mauser Long Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked with what looks like a pickelhaube and an armor chest piece, this supposedly stands for Stahl of Solingen. The blade is straight, has not been sharpened, and it is mostly clean with some very tiny age spots. Lock button is functional. There is pitting to the pommel and crossguard. The grips are worn (especially on the edges) and one has a hole in it. The black enameled scabbard is solid with no dents, it does have some light paint loss mainly near the tip area and on the edges. The leather frog shows typical wear with crazing throughout and the stitching is tight. Leather washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 10 1/16" (13/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 3/4", overall in the scabbard it is 15 7/8", and the frog alone is 7 3/4".
