WWII Mundlos 1938 German Matching #s M84 K98 Mauser Bayonet w/Scabbard & Frog

Description

Pre-WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked "4825" over "s" on one side and on the other side is "Mundlos". The grips are solid with some scratches, a few nicks, and a nut is missing. The blade retains 95% of the finish, it has not been sharpened, the tip is very sharp, the spine is marked "38" for 1938, and the last 1/32" of the tip is very slightly bent. The pommel has a double Waffenamt marked "WaA536" and there is another above the flashguard

Lock button is functional and has a "536". The scabbard has matching marks to the bayonet "4825" over "s" on one side and on the backside is "Mundlos" over "38". The scabbard is solid with a couple small dings, and the ball finial is Waffenamt marked. The leather frog shows wear, the stitching is tight, the strap is complete with no tears, and there is something stamped onto the backside but is illegible. Length of the blade measures 9 15/16" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 15 1/8", overall in the scabbard it is 15 7/8", and the frog alone is 9 1/8".
