WWII jwh 1942 German Matching #s M84 K98 Mauser Bayonet w/Scabbard + Frog

Description

WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked "1194" over "h" on one side and on the reverse is "jwh" which stands for Staatliche, Waffenfabrik, Chatellerault, France. The grips have a few very small nicks/chips. The spine is marked "42" for 1942. The blade has 97% of the finish, it has not been sharpened, no nicks, no pitting, no rust, tight, straight, and clean. The pommel has a double Waffenampt mark "WaA251". Lock button is functional. The scabbard has "1194" over a faint "h" on one side and on the backside is "jwh" over "42". The scabbard is solid with some small dings mainly on one edge, and the ball finial is Waffenampt marked but illegible. The leather frog shows light wear, the stitching is tight, there is a hole the goes all the way through the belt loop, and I don't see any markings. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 15 1/8", and overall in the scabbard it is 15 7/8". The frog alone is 8 7/8". One of the best sets I've ever had, great condition!
