Original pre-WW2 era German K98 Bayonet manufactured by E.u.F. Horster of Solingen, as indicated by the manufacturer's number code 14asw. This pre-WW2 blade numbering system of letters-and-numbers codes was used from 1934 to 1937 to keep the maker’s identities secret. German Horster always made an excellent quality product, even in the last months of WW2; they are famous for their high-quality German military swords and other edged weapons.
