WWII German fighting knife 6th parachute regiment marked on the blade

WWII German fighting knife 6th parachute regiment marked on the blade with black painted scabbard.  This is a period original piece so bid with confidence.  The scabbard retains almost all of the original period paint there is one small ding to the scabbard but nothing too serious.  The blade shows age and use and remains in great shape.  The blade has a unit markings for the 6th Air Force paratrooper regiment my understanding.  This is better then most of these that you see so bid with confidence.
