Excellent condition original WWII German 98k Mauser bayonet that is a commercial production example, with the Alex Coppel scales trademark on the left ricasso. Bayonet shows rare and desirable police use with an eagle marking on the spine plus a hard-to read letter that looks like “B” or “E”. Bayonet has beautiful original blue finish showing a little normal wear. Blade was never sharpened. Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original unmarked steel scabbard that has original blue finish showing a little wear, no dents. A beautiful, rare police marked commercial 98k Mauser bayonet.
