WWII ACS Alcoso-A.Betz Stahlware Giessen K98 German Mauser Bayonet w/Scabbard

Description

WWII German Mauser Long Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is marked "ACS" with scales and on the reverse "A. Betz" over "Stahlware" over "Giessen". The blade is straight, unsharpened but the tip is sharp, has some freckles, and does wiggle. Lock button is functional. The black enameled scabbard is solid with one dent and some small dings along one edge, has paint loss, and the frog stud is a bit loose. Leather washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 9 13/16" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 11/16", and overall in the scabbard it is 15 7/8".
