WWII A. Evertz Solingen German K98 Mauser Knife Long Bayonet w/Scabbard & Frog

Description

WWII German Mauser Long Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked "A. Evertz" over "Solingen". The blade is straight, tight, it has been heavily sharpened and is very sharp, the tip is also very sharp, there is light surface rust in the sharpened areas. Lock button is functional. The black enameled scabbard is solid with no dents but does have some paint loss and paint bubbling scattered throughout. The leather frog shows wear with no tears but there is some surface leather loss and overall it is a bit stiff. Leather washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (15/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 7/8", overall in the scabbard it is 16", and the frog alone is 8".
