Description
This is a vintage early 1900s Parker Lady Duofold LuckyCurve fountain pen and matching mechanical pencil set; Both in Orange-Red color (Big Red?)The Fountain Pen:
The barrel is made of orange-red plastic (bakelite? based on age). Gold trimmed - not marked with Karat strength
A few micro-scratches on the barrel can only be seen with magnification and cannot be felt.
The viability of plunger is unknown; the threading for the plunger cap is in good shape.
The screw-on threads function as intended (not stripped) pen threads are slightly rough where body of pen meets black nib holder
The gold nib is marked "Parker Duofold Pen", I don't know the size
The pen barrel is not personalized
This is a ring-top pen and did not come with clip
Parker Lady Duofold incised on barrel with patent date 4-25-11 (1911)
This old fountain pen measures 4 3/4" long and appears to be in good condition but is NOT reconditioned, has NOT been tested, NOT examined by an expert.
The Mechanical Pencil:
The Parker mechanical pencil is in good working condition and still has lead that easily raises and lowers with the twist action
Also Orange-Red plastic with gold trim - "Gold Filled" noted on ring top end along with "PARKER"
Micro-scratches on barrel cannot be felt, no dings or dents
The barrel is not marked with a personal engraving
The barrel is not incised
The pencil is about 4 3/4" long
Note: All pens I offer are from the estate of a collector; I'm listing pens that "appear" to be in good vintage condition to my untrained eye: I do not have any experience to give assurances about the pens. None have been tested or reconditioned: All pens are sold "as-is" without confirmation of function, viability or size of nib. I've provided all information based on observation.
note: International sales are through Global Shipping only
