Ideal for small establishments that serve chicken, Reubens, or paninis, the Star PGT14T Pro-Max 2.0® sandwich grill is equipped with two aluminum plates that toast food evenly. Accommodating foods with a maximum width of 3 inches, the panini press is a versatile tool due to its heavy-duty torsion spring-hinge system and aluminum plates. The top plate easily contacts food on the bottom plate due to the spring hinge; once finished cooking, it can be retracted to its original position. This high-contact design boasts even toasting, complete with sear lines. The aluminum plates create a nonstick surface with frequent reseasoning. Also, the plates can be reheated quickly, which is good for sporadic use. It has a 175- to 550-degree-Fahrenheit temperature range.
The Star PGT14T Pro-Max 2.0 sandwich press boasts safety features to protect operators. An electronic timer built into the device reduces the risk of burning food, which can decrease the possibility of fires. A heavy-gauge conduit resists water and oil to keep its electrical wires safe. The sandwich grill is made of stainless steel for added durability and corrosion protection.
