Spain/Spanish k98 Bayonet Mfr. for or by Spain w/Scabbard. Exactly like the German issue k98 except blade is thinner and does not carry the german markings. 'PR8' on one side cross guard and a 4 digit # on other side. The blade is marked '99' with another small mark. Blade is deeply blued and has original edge and point configuration. Scabbard undented with about 95% blued finish left. Wood grips have slight handling marks. The screws look original (german type)but they could be arsenal redone. Push button works fine. No other markings on scabbard or butt. This is a nice example of a bayonet produced for the Spanish Civil War. Study all photos carefully. . postage.
