    Description

Our durable, solid braided polyester rope makes a great rope for many outdoor uses. Our solid braids are made from 100% polyester fibers braided in a lock-stitch design to keep it from unraveling. This round, firm cord is flexible, ties and knots well, and stretches very little compared to solid braid nylon. Solid braid rope is superior in some ways to a 3 strand twisted rope since it is torque free and smoother over pulleys and other surfaces.
This polyester cord is great for many industrial applications where a small diameter, high-strength, low-stretch cordage is required. Our solid braid polyester rope has excellent resistance to abrasion, UV degradation, rot, mildew and most chemicals. This is the best rope for flagpole halyards and sizes ¼”, 5/16”, and ⅜” are the most common sizes for flags. Standard colors are white and black. Many other colors are available but may require lead times or minimums.
Some of the most common uses for solid braid polyester are:
    Blocks and pulleys
    Flagpole rope
    Halyard
    Small sailboats
    Guy lines for antennas
    Overhead doors
    Sash cord
    Clothesline
    Cargo tie down
    Tent lines
    Marine use
    Banners
    Awnings
    Industrial applications
    General purpose utility rope
Trying to decide — polyester vs nylon? There are some differences between polyester and nylon. If you need a low stretch, durable rope, go with this polyester. Polyester has better abrasion resistance and UV resistance than nylon as well as much less elasticity.
Your rope will ship fast and free usually the same business day. It will ship UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, whichever is cheaper.
