extracted from the leaves of

plant (Agave sisalana)
and imported from Brazil. Sisal is a moderate strength rope with excellent grip in the hands. Our sisal rope has a pleasant, natural smell. It is a grassy, earthy smell that is pleasant and not off putting. Our three strand sisal is a great choice for indoor use, and is not treated with any chemicals or preservatives. It is not so great for outdoor projects since it will deteriorate quickly from exposure to the elements.
