RARE 4 Vintage Douglas Aircraft Aircomb Products Drink Coasters Plastic w/ Box

There are 4 plastic coasters in good condition in the original box.
·
They are approx. 3 ½” diameter and they have a lip around the top edge to keep the drink in place.
·
In the center of each coaster it says; Aircomb Products Douglas and there are three airplane images.
·
The Douglas name is also on the box.
·
Pasted to the underside of the lid is a paper that says; These articles contain a section of Douglas Aircomb.
This light weight, high strength structural material is used in the aircraft industry for construction of panels for partitions, bulkheads, ceilings, etc.
Aircomb is used for building structures, including walls, roofs, floors and decorative panels; also in boat hulls and other marine applications.

Embossed on the bottom of the coasters is Semco Research Inc. Inglewood, California.
