Nice WWII German Matching K98 bayonet w scabbard and frog CLEMEN and Jung #966.
A nice, WWII, German, matching numbers, K 98 bayonet with scabbard and frog by Clemen & Jung! The blade rates excellent and shows some faint scratches and slight in and out wear. The blade measures 9 7/8 inches long. The blade is stamped CLEMEN and jung and 4131 B. The spine is stamped 40. The hilt rates very good and shows wear and a tiny bit of pitting. The top of the Pommel shows a few tiny dents. The matching numbers scabbard rates good and shows wear to its finish, Staining and a few tiny dents. The leather frog rates very good, showing wear and is maker marked Otto BREITSCHAB on the back. Overall, a nice, matching K 98 bayonet, complete with frog! The pushbutton lock functions properly.
