    Jack Hylton (born John Greenhalgh Hilton) was an English pianist and orchestra
    leader who rose to prominence during the British dance band era of the 1920s and
    1930s. His band went on 16 tours of Europe between 1927 and 1938 and became the
    first British orchestra to broadcast in the U.S.
