The two photos show employees of Hughes Aircraft, probably in Glendale, during a Christmas celebration / party event during the war years...likely between 1943 and 1945. The large photo shows employees lined up at the front entrance of their event. The small photo shows a line of people waiting to enter the event. Large photo measures 8 x 10". Smaller photo measures 4 x 5".
The tri-fold program is for a show put on by the employees of Hughes Aircraft Company in 1953...the 2nd Annual Strato Show / Syncopated Circus. I looked up one of the names on the Executive Committee - a co-chairman named Mel Glaser. His name came up on google. He was an aircraft mechanic who helped work on the Spruce Goose. Program laid open measures 9 x 12".
