HUGE Vintage Ceramic Owl Statue 21"Tall TWU Rice University Mascot Minerva Sammy.
This HUGE majestic owl stands approximately 21" tall and 12-14" wide. The 16oz Monster drink can is shown for scale but not included.
This came from the estate of a couple including a Texas Woman's University (with The Owl of Minerva as mascot) graduate and a Rice University (Sammy the Owl mascot) graduate, so I am not sure if it was for one or both.
I was told this was procured in the 80s, but there is no date or other inscription that I can find.
Whether you like vintage items, owls in general, or want a super cool mascot for the school you attended, I doubt you will find one cooler or more impressive than this!
This can either be picked up locally in the North Dallas area (Texas) or shipped. Fedex is showing it can be done for just about on average, depending on destination.
