    Description

    German WWII S84/98 (K98) S/185 Code Bayonet with Scabbard dated 1936. The S/185 code denotes that it was made by Elite-Diamantwerk AG, Siegmar-Schönau bei Chemnitz. This bayonet is for the German K98 rifle.
    Date stamp of '36 (1936) on spine of bayonet. Blade is numbered 158 h and has plenty of its original blueing left especially towards the base close to the grip. Base of pommel shows two eagle over 218 waffenampt marks.
    Metal Scabbard has a large letter J in a circle stamped into it.
