For auction is a great find for the airplane, aeronautical, or Fokker enthusiast. This item is a 48-illustration collection (cassette) of cutaway drawings of Fokker aircraft. They are all on a very heavy paper, almost card stock, each measuring about 13.75 by 11 inches. According to the informational guide book included, there are about 44 plane models included, so there must be some different agles or versions drawings included (48 is the correct complete number of illustrations from what I have found). From what I understand - and information was very hard to come by - this set was sold by the Dutch magazine AviaMagazine in the 1970's, available to its readers or subscribers. I have also seen a couple times where this collection was referred to as "rare" or "scarce". Although not exactly sure who published the collection, the drawings are artist signed "r. ter cock". ALSO included is a photograph that was in the set as I found it. It looks like it is some kind of "official" photo from Fokker (???) of a model of their T.VIII-W reconnaissance/torpedo bomber. I'm not sure of all the notations on the backside, but they are there for you to see. Photo measures about 4.75 by 7 inches. Condition: Spider drawing has a few light bends way up in the top right corner, not creased, could be straightened, probably because it sat right up front; the T.VIII-W drawing looks like it was leaned on while resting on a spiral binding, some "embossing" visible low towards bottom, not bad; all other drawings are NM/M cond; register book excellent, only issue is a small owner name in pen at top; photo excellent, slightly curled; orange cloth-covered box/case is excellent, no damage, only thing to note is that the fold-over cover has sunken in a little forcing the sides above the enclosed area to bow outwards a tad, nothing serious.
