This rope clamp is
reusable
and allows you to make a quick and easy loop in your rope. It features brass threaded inserts molded into half of the clamp with stainless steel screws in the other half that will tighten the clamp together, securely forming a loop to your desired length and diameter.
This clamp is designed for solid braided nylon or polypropylene rope but will work great with many different ropes.
With some ropes, such as Hemp and Kernmantle, due to density it may be necessary to go to a larger size clamp for the rope to fit & work properly (for example for 1/2" hemp we suggest using a 5/8" Rope Clamp)
If you have a very stiff or dense(such as hemp) rope, the next larger size clamp will probably work the best.
(ex 1/2" hemp rope - use 5/8" clamp)
The "perfect end" gives a clean and finished look to you ropes and lines and stops the fraying.
There are unlimited uses for these items including pet leashes, horse leads, dock and fender lines, along with many camping and hunting uses.
