Description
This is an oversize fountain pen from the 1920's in striated green.Research info is sketchy, but all indications are this was a maker in the USA that was in business
for a only for a short while, then was done in by the "Great Depression" of the 1930's.
This does not have the original nib or feed. A Parker Duofold senior, 18k gold nib has been substituted.
With a new ink sac installed, the point is of a smooth broad width. (Makes a distinctive signature).
Dimensions are 5, 3/8" X 5/8" (135mm X 15mm)
Condition:
There are no cracks, deep scratches, bite marks or monograms.
Most of the gold tone has worn off the steel clip.
The nib iridium is intact: however, a small crack from the lower part of the vent hole is observed (a common flaw with Duofold nibs apparently).
With a new vinyl ink sac installed, the pen takes up a relative large volume of ink.
The cap threads are intact and the cap tightens down firmly.
