The Duke Ellington OrchestraOriginal souvenir program printed in Germany in March, 1964 for the "Duke Ellington European Tour."
The program has numerous signatures from band members. This lineup with these guest players were together and recorded by Columbia Records on March 20, 1964 in Paris.
The program is signed on the cover by Duke Ellington to a Bernard "???" (I can't make out the name.) Also, trombonist Buster Cooper signed on the cover. Page one has French producer Hugues Panassie and saxophonist Harry Carney. Page three has Cootie Williams, Johnny Hodges, Cat Anderson, Jimmy Hamilton, Paul Gonsalves, Lawrence Brown, and Russell Procope.
Good+ condition, minor blemishes of age. ~ 11" x 10". 16 pages.
