    Nice Pin from back in the day. Oral history states that this pin was created and sold by a local
    craftsman

    in Fort Worth. Not Haltom's Jeweler, but a
    hobbyist
    . That person may have worked for GD at the time, and this may have been created at CVRA / GDRA in the hobby shop area. I have several of these, and they all have been found in the Fort Worth area. Reported as sterling, but not marked. Twice found pinned to a piece of Blue Ribbon.
    Pin is just about 1 inch at it's widest point
