One-Of-A-Kind Collection of Vintage, Original Signed Autograph Album Pages – from the collection of DICK GILBERT . Pages measure approximately 6 1/4” x 8 1/2”.  Forty one (41) pages in all – and all but one page is signed only on the front. It would take you years to amass a collection like this.  Here is your opportunity to purchase the large collection described further below.
The signed pages being offered in this listing were sourced from the autograph album of 1940s radio host, Dick Gilbert.  Who as Dick Gilbert? Gilbert was a DJ for an Arizona radio station, KTYL (see advertisement included with scans).  During the 1940s he hosted on his show a veritable who’s-who of popular music from the era. In a leather-bound album (measuring approximately 6 ½” wide x 8 ¾” tall) embossed with his name, he amassed quite a collection of signatures with personal, affectionate inscriptions from jazz musicians, bandleaders, singers, actors, and Latin stars. Many of the stars included warm sentiments, sketches or salutations that make the signatures true gems as collectibles. These are very unique, personal signatures! This collection is a must-have for the serious Jazz/Music/Big Band autograph collector. Or if you or someone you know wants to start off a fantastic, solid vintage autograph collection.

The signatures offered for sale in this listing are original and authentic. I had PSA/DNA authenticate a Frank Sinatra signature from 1943 (sorry – the Sinatra already sold as is not included in this lot) and the signatures of the three Andrews Sisters (which is included in this lot) sourced from the same autograph album! So, I have absolutely no doubts about the authenticity of the signatures described in this listing.
