AUTHENTIC WW II GERMAN K98 BAYONET - 1943 ASW - SCABBARD & BELT CLIP - VET CERTIFICATE
Authentic WW II German K98 Bayonet, which was brought home by a returning soldier. Bayonet is marked "8947 ZZ" and "43ASW". Metal Scabbard is marked "1535" and is encased in a leather belt clip. Accompanying this is a copy of the original paperwork authorizing the legal return of this item dated Nov. 14, 1945 and on the European Theater Headquarters paperwork. In great and undamaged condition. It measures a
pprox 11.5" long x 2" at widest part of scabbard. Blade about 1” wide. Hilt approx. 5.25” long.
