ANTIQUE CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN DEMITASSE CUP & SAUCER - NEPTUNE MYTHOLOGY

Description

CAPODIMONTE ANTIQUE DEMITASSE CUP & SAUCER
Decorated with intricate dimensional relief classical figures with ornate gilt trim on all edges.
Painted with semi-nude nymphs, horses, sea creatures & Neptune with trident frolicking in the water.
Saucer has raised swag garlands of flowers.
Saucer measures 4 3/8" diameter, slightly concave; cup measures almost 2 1/4" tall X 1 1/8" top diameter.
Each piece shows the underglaze blue N crown mark as shown.
I believe this mark is mid 19th c., but I am no expert in this field.  You decide the dating.
NOTE
:  as shown in final 2 photos, there is a well repaired old crack in the handle.
Repair is about 1/4" away from the body of the cup, near first "up" area of handle.
