    Description

Antique PARKER Lucky Curve FOUNTAIN PEN Desk Set
PHOTOS TELL the CONDITION STORY better than my description . . .
From public info I've found, this desk set is from the 1920s ~
    h
appy to be corrected, just let me know!
    PARKER DESK SET BASE
Beautiful, stunning glossy lapis blue Parker desk pen holder ~ oval shape
    Parker logo to front
    Original felt base
Condition of lapis finish is excellent ~ high gloss & vivid color ~ no chips, some scuffs
Golden/brass parts & trim show finish & color wear with some patina & shadowy marks ~ I only cleaned with Water Wipes
Trumpet moves freely & lays flat when not in use to store & reduce ink dry
Black pen trumpet is scuffed with finish & color loss/dulling
Wear to logo, I can make out
    US Pat Off
    beneath the Parker logo (
    not Duofold
    )
Shrinkage to original felt base with stain, discoloration & glue residue at ceramic edges
Note the base is not Lapis Stone ~ it is a gorgeous lapis stone-appearing finish on a heavy & likely ceramic base
    Measures about 6.5" x 3.75"
Not another found anywhere in this gorgeous lapis blue!
    ORIGINAL PARKER FOUNTAIN PEN
Golden nib marked Parker Pen Made in USA  (that's all the text that's visible to me)
    Barrel marked with strong imprint:
    Geo. S. Parker Janesville Wis.
    Lucky Curve
    Fountain Pen
    U.S.A. Pat. 4-25-11
Brass button pump mechanism inside, needs a bladder?
    Condition is:
    restoration required
I simply unscrewed the 3 piece pen & wiped it with Water Wipes
No cracks to pen outer barrel or threads anywhere, I examined all parts with a magnifying glass
Pen casing/barrel & golden trim shows scuffs, scratches, dings, digs & a bite to tip
Pen color appears faded with yellowing ~ no longer a match to the base, though still beautiful
Golden nib shows scuffs & scratches, not sure if it needs adjustment, no cracks backside
The inside part of the nib piece is missing something! see close-up photos
I CANNOT GUARANTEE this FOUNTAIN PEN CAN BE RESTORED
I know nothing about fountain pens other than I love
my old-fashioned 1960s Sheaffer School Cartridge Pen & Peacock Blue ink!
PHOTOS taken under pure white tactical light for detail ~ don't hesitate to ask for specific photos
Fast shipping, carefully packed, insured with signature confirmation
