  • Condition: I am not an expert on these. Blade looks so nice I believe it has been arsenal refinished. All numbers and stamps look original and unaltered. Bayonet scabbard fits nice but serial number does not match. Back piece of the Bayonet Frog is original and dated 1941. Front piece of leather is a modern replacement and of course is re-sewn onto original back. The bottom two rivets which are located at the top of the front piece of leather are cheesy two-piece crimp on affairs and should be upgraded. Rear leather appears strong for its age. Metal scabbard looks to be in good shape.
  • Modification Description: Leather Frog has an original stamped leather back. The front piece of leather is a replacement re-sewn unto back. The two rivets at top of front piece are cheap two piece crimp types.
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: Solingen
